£290/day

Established Senior Agile Project Delivery Manager with ability to train and share Agile skill sets with others in the team.

Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and safe execution of projects, engaging with stakeholders and actively participating in all phases of the project.

Effectively estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project(s) and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.

Delivery of projects utilising Agile tools/ceremonies e.g. Backlogs, Sprint Planning, Delivering in Sprints, Sprint Retro, Show and Tells.

Ensure that project team members are motivated and inspired and develop their Agile skills and experience and to take appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances.

Identify risks, coordinate risk assessment, manage agreed actions (which may involve acceptance of risk, risk reduction or mitigations to avoid / eliminate risks), and monitor the status of risks on an ongoing basis.

Ability to lead others and challenge the status quo essential!

Technical Experience / Skills / Knowledge

? Expert in the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation.

? Expert in methods and techniques associated with the planning and monitoring progress of projects (e.g. product breakdown structures, baselining, critical path analysis, resource analysis, conflict resolution, risk and issue management, etc.)

? Expert in techniques which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation (e.g. business environment analysis, business perspectives, functional business models, process modelling, stakeholder analysis, use cases, user stories, Scrum, process mapping, benefits mapping).

? Proficient in methods and techniques for structured reviews, including reviews of technical work products, test plans, business cases, architectures and any other key deliverables (e.g. peer review, formal technical review).

? Has in-depth commercial and technical expertise in a variety of environments.

? Proficient in the analytical comparison of IT products against specified criteria (including costs) to determine the solution which best meets the business needs.

? Proficient in corporate, industry and professional standards, policies, regulations, compliance and codes of conduct associated with the role
