Senior Application Developer

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Senior Application Developer based in Dublin. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary.  The candidate will focus on designing and developing the next generation of cutting-edge Legal Software Design.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Application Developer, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary delivery team, will be the design, implementation and development of software applications and onboarding of new clients based on their defined requirements.

Role Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in designing, developing and implementing software applications.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as computer science, business informatics, Electronic Engineering. Comparable education or professional experience also considered.
Excellent Knowledge of SAP Business Objects product including Information Design Tools, Web Intelligence and Tableau 10.
Experience in Crystal Reports desirable
Knowledge of SQL Server Databases and migration experience between Databases
Experienced in runtime, build and deployment technologies as well as project tools, e.g. Eclipse, IntelliJ, GitLab, JIRA and Confluence.
Knowledge of modern database technologies (relational/non-relational).
Expertise in Data Analysis, designing, developing, implementing and executing BI Projects.
Strong communication skills (e.g., with business analysts and stakeholders as well as technical-representatives), coordination skills
Highly organized and highly competent in solving issues and finding solutions.
A Team player with a willingness to get the job done.
Role Responsibilities

Contribute significantly to implementing and documenting technical solutions within a collaborative solutions-based delivery team.
Work within an agile delivery process to deliver high quality estimates and outcomes.
Support the architectural direction, solution specification, development, implementation and delivery of new and existing applications or services through the use of Data Analytics.
Continuously innovate in terms of process and technology.
Must have strong verbal, written and organizational skills and strong customer focus.
Be a proactive stakeholder in code quality and standards.
Be responsible for the execution of the full suite of development tasks in a modern delivery pipeline, including validation activities.
Provide knowledge transfer across Support and Project Teams
Work with developers, analysts, and tech leads across the business to identify business needs using Data Analytics and other appropriate technical solutions.
Support the developed solutions in production with an emphasis on ‘Customer Focused’ solutions.
