Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern software testing practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
Create scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
Automate web application testing for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end scenarios.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or Playwright API testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and test case design activities.
Generate automation execution reports and maintain test documentation.
Ensure automation best practices and coding standards are followed.
Required Skills
3+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (or Java with Playwright).
Experience in designing automation frameworks from scratch.
Strong understanding of TestNG/JUnit (for Java-based frameworks).
Experience in API testing and automation.
Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
Experience with Docker and containerized test execution.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Nice to Have
Experience with visual testing and accessibility testing.
Exposure to AI-powered testing tools.
Experience in cross-browser and mobile web automation.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
