I am currently partnering with one of my key clients on an exclusive basis to recruit a Scrum Master. This organisation is a market leader within their sector and currently is going through a period of remarkable growth.This opportunity offers remote working options however travel would be required to head offices in Manchester and Norwich as business requires.
In this role you will be responsible for effectively delivering projects through managing sprints from planning to execution to review in an agile development environment. Your role will include running daily scrums, managing the product backlog, collaborating on requirement documentation and removing blockages to keep the team moving.
You will work in partnership with the product owner(s) to define the product backlog and will collaborate with all stakeholder teams in delivery of the project.
As agile is a new way of working for the business and their business colleagues you will be responsible for supporting the transition to agile through coaching, demonstrating and ensuring a pragmatic approach to agile works.
The role will be responsible for selecting the appropriate delivery method and approach during the business transformation to agile ways of working.
Identifying appropriate delivery method for the assigned outcomes
Facilitates daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives
Create or analyse business requirements documents and project timelines to create a ‘done’ product backlog
Guide team in time estimating practices & facilitates team estimates
Drives team sprint execution, communicates with management and stakeholders
Protect the team from changes to the sprint backlog or user stories
Manage project conflict and blockages to keep the team running at high performance levels
Lead continuous improvements to ensure maximum productivity, velocity and business value
Zealously keep project status, backlogs, stories and boards up to date
Maintain project governance and controls
Present high-level updates to executive stakeholders
Coach and lead the transition to agile ways of working
Manage other special projects as assigned
