This is an opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join a Scottish ICT provider, prominent in the cloud and telecom space. The hiring business have a roadmap toward double in size in the next 18 months but always put customers at the heart of everything they do, with an underpromise then overdeliver outlook.
The right candidate will have proven experience in working closely with sales teams to deliver cloud, telecoms and connectivity solutions to private and public sector clients. The role with be both technically and commercially focused with the goal of helping to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue targets are met. Technical engagement both within the business and with external clients will fill most of your day so client facing skills are just as important as technical knowledge.
Working as a technical resource to partner with Business Development and account management to liaise with clients
Acting as POC for technical queries from clients
Updating clients on all technical developments/changes within the industry
Identifying and maximising revenue opportunities within accounts
Regular communication with Sales and Senior management teams
Creating technical solutions to ensure smooth transition and on-boarding of new clients
Engaging with customers at a technical level when there are service issues
Working with the support team to resolve technical issues
Partnering with Sales team to prepare bids and proposals
Assist internally on channel and partner management
Keep up-to-date with technology changes within the list of channel partners
