Root Cause Data Analyst / RCA – City of London (Remote) – Perm – £38,000 – £42,000 Per Annum
A Financial Services company based in the City of London is seeking an experienced Root Cause Data Analyst to join an experienced and growing team. This position is remote until further notice and will require 2 to 3 days in the office when permitted.
This position will support the data insight strategy by identifying areas of under performance and risk by Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of SLAs/ KPIs. You will support the business as the dedicated resource and subject matter expert in data gathering, reporting and root cause analysis to further the business goals.
*You will identify and understand the underlying issues within operation and areas of poor quality, undertaking investigation and identifying remedial action to reduce or eliminate similar issues in the future.
*You will conduct RCA on varying degrees of complex data sets and themes, using multi-level analysis to identify skill gaps or broken processes & procedures with recommendations for possible fixes.
*You will drive through improvements recommended as a result of RCA, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to reduce customer fail-points or cost, improve process efficiency, reduce risk and ultimately improve the Customer experience
*You will log all issues, from a variety of sources into a central database with quantification of severity for prioritisation in Issue Management and Change meetings.
*You will lead meetings with appropriate colleagues to discuss issues and issues and themes identified across the Scheme with a view to progression and resolution
*Financial Services /Insurance experience is required preferably within Operations
*Experience in collating information, data and delivering insight into with actionable plans to deliver change, improvements, efficiencies and benefits.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent Presentation Skills
*Analytical and problem-solving skills
*Must be proficient in Excel. SQL experience will be highly beneficial.
