QA Specialist

Location: 3 days per week from home / 2 days in London

Salary: Circa 50K – 55K + Benefits

This is a varied role focused on ensuring the functionality of their software applications, APIs, and hardware integrations through manual testing. You’ll be testing across all stages of the product lifecycle to maintain a high standard of quality and reliability. You’ll also take the lead in introducing test automation and laying the groundwork for a future in-house test team

Essential:
• Proven experience as an End-to-End QA Specialist, Software Tester or similar role
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and processes
• Hands-on experience with automation testing, including setting up or maintaining automated test scripts or frameworks
• Experience with API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, performing data validation, and ensuring data integrity across different systems
• Knowledge of data verification techniques and data integrity principles
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB, CSTE)
