Project manager required to deliver Software Implementations for local government customers

Great opportunity to join an award winning software provider. We are looking for a Project Manager to take responsibility for the implementations, upgrades and ongoing software releases for multiple customers. Your customer base will be local government clients.

As Project Manager, you will drive forward the delivery of technical projects and be the first point of contact for liaison between all project stakeholders and clients. You will work with a variety of technical and non-technical teams to ensure strong communication, minimum project disruption, and ultimately successful project delivery.

Project Manager – Key Requirements:

Proven ability as a software / IT project manager 

Experience of managing multiple projects and juggling the demands and expectations of customers.

Strong communication and presentation skills, building strong working relationships with internal technical teams and a variety of external stakeholders.

Knowledge of MS project and or PRINCE

Previous experience of delivering software projects to local government customers is preferred 

Strong scheduling, planning and tracking skills

Ability to drive and travel to clients sites with some over night stays
