Project Manager – probably at junior level – or a Project Coordinator, looking to step up into a PM role, for a permanent job with a vibrant, busy ERP software provider. You will have run small to mid-size projects involving application software or you are currently a savvy Project Coordinator, looking to step up to a PM role. This is mostly a remote position, but ideally you will be based somewhere in the Midlands, or Central England, down to the London area. There will be some travel involved once we are all operating normally again. Starting salary to £40k + car allowance.

One of the Project Managers here has been promoted to a senior role, hence this position needs a replacement, and you will work directly for that Senior PM, alongside 3 other PM's. What they want is someone who has coordinated or managed application software implementation projects, so that you have an understanding of the steps involved, such as the business processes, data conversion, software implementation, and client training and go-live. You will be allocated to specific projects and specific clients.

So you will be chasing clients and pushing things through with them, organising project plans and consultants and keeping everyone on track. You need a calm personality, excellent organisation and great communication, to do all this well.

This is a superb business, they have grown from 25 people to 140 in 10 years, and they are multiple award winners for their software solutions, and also as a top UK Company to work for. Your career will go from strength to strength here. They are looking for a Project Coordinator or Project Manager, who has run or helped with projects involving software implementations and is client facing, and brilliant at planning, scheduling, organising and keeping projects on track.

You will be working on projects involving a .Net SQL Server ERP solution which is sold in the cloud, on premise and for mobile. The software is selling incredibly well, clients love it and they expect the project management team to grow dramatically.

You will be used to managing diaries, organising meetings, allocating consultants, running risk logs, looking at budgets and dealing with everything that changes at the last minute. You will be able to smoothly chase up clients to arrange meetings, or training sessions or follow up with documentation.

This role would suit an organised Junior Project Manager or a Project Coordinator looking for a step up, someone who enjoys working in a team and is happy having a "to do list" as long as next week and 50 plates spinning. You ensure the right level of service and you can hold your own when dealing with pain points and project disruption / change management.
