My client are Ireland's market leading company in a thriving industry. They are seeking a Project Manager with the technical knowledge and experience of ERP Architecture to oversee and manage all technical aspects of a large scale ERP implementation Project.

This person will ensure that data migration, BI development, infrastructure, and interfaces projects will be effectively completed. It is important there is an understanding of the technical challenges the company will face, in order to better assist them in avoiding these pitfalls.

This role is open to Project Managers, Engineering Managers, Solutions Architects and Technical Leads, depending on the nature of their experience.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

Support project delivery within the PMO team
Oversee technical delivery (infrastructure, data migration, BI, interfaces)
Define team roles, set goals, and manage performance
Foster team motivation and cohesion
Create and manage technical project plans and schedules
Coordinate resources to meet deadlines
Monitor progress and provide status updates
Manage risks and issues, ensuring alignment with project methods
Ensure technical delivery meets business requirements and is transparent
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide technical updates
Lead weekly work track meetings and project updates
Attend daily stand-ups, PMO team meetings, and project review meetings

Technical:

Strong technical background in order to lead technical systems/processes aligned with company's methodologies and roadmap
Good architecture and infrastructure knowledge required
Communicate effectively with technical experts
Ensure technical objectives and timelines are met
Oversee data migration, BI solutions, infrastructure, and interfaces
Bridge business and technical teams
Manage data migration scope and methodologies
Coordinate with SW vendor on technical engagements and support.

Experience and Qualifications

Relevant degree and PRINCE2 Certification
5+ years in IT Project Management
Knowledgeable in ERP systems, data warehousing, BI development, and data engineering
Strong technical understanding at the level of the architecture of ERP systems
Proven experience in managing technical projects, especially ERP-related
Leadership and communication skills to motivate teams and convey technical concepts
Experience in ERP project delivery
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
