Project Manager

Project Manager / FinTech / Agile / Infrastructure / Data / Software / Remote / Birmingham City Centre

My client, a well-established and very ambitious FinTech business is looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join the Product Development team.

The Project Manager will help drive improvements across the company and will support both internal teams and clients during a phase of rapid expansion of the business!

This role can be primarily remote however you must be happy working form my client's head office in Birmingham City Centre for a minimum of 1 day a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate appropriate control of projects using the defined methodology
Advocate and champion the project methodology through the project teams
Responsible for managing resources of projects and working with Engineering, Data Services and BA Teams to address any gaps
Manage timelines, RAID log, requirements, testing plans, budgets
Assess and report back on differing priorities for decisions by the appropriate level of stakeholders
Provide weekly updates on projects to the executive committee and quarterly updates to the board
Communicate with various stakeholders both internally and externally
Be involved in any continuous improvement initiatives to ensure best practices are followed across the PMO.

Key Skills and Experience required:

Demonstrable experience in delivering projects end to end using a range of project methodologies.
Agile experience and ideally knowledge or experience DSDM.
Must have a pro-active attitude and a proven track record in managing multiple projects in different phases concurrently.
Experience in delivering infrastructure, software and traditional projects is a must.
Qualifications in a recognised Project Methodology (i.e. PRINCE2, APM) is essential.

The salary on offer is £45,000 – £55,000 dependant on experience plus a generous bonus scheme and full company benefits.
