Project Delivery Manager / IT Delivery Lead
The IT Delivery Lead will assist in tracking and reporting of all IT led delivery projects whilst working to facilitate the success of that delivery. This is an internal facing role which requires key collaboration with the Head of IT, Enterprise Applications Manager and the wider IT group.
Dutes will include:
* Enabling/Facilitating IT-led project delivery across the business
* To plan, monitor, track and report IT-led project delivery.
* To provide effective reporting and key updates to technical IT and senior IT stakeholders.
* Liaising with third party suppliers to coordinate and support external release schedules.
* Triaging and investigating issues.
* Delivery management/issue resolution.
* Internal IT facing role
The successful candidate is likely to have a sound knowledge of IT Delivery and Project Management principles together with strong technical experience and a good mix of the following:
* Project Management and/or programme planning experience
* Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite, specifically a strong knowledge of Excel.
* Some experience of working in an Agile environment
* Previous experience of working within financial or an insurance environment
* Background of working in an ITIL environment
* Good communication and project management skills and programme planning/reporting capabilities.
Any of the following would be advantageous:
* Knowledge of a variety of delivery methodologies including delivery in an agile environment (eg SCRUM and Kanban).
* Previous experience of working Financial Services, specifically insurance
In return you will receive a salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 plus an excellent benefits scheme and the opportunity to work partly from home with trips to the office maybe once or twice a week.
