Product Owner – Leeds/Flexible working – up to £50k + 10% matched pension + Share Scheme

A financial services solutions provider is looking for a product owner to join their ranks.

As a Product Owner you will be working with key stakeholders and teams of engineers, you willl be working to ensure end-to-end delivery and support of software products and services across the business. You will manage the specifications, planning and delivery of the business' web applications and the software team's workload.

PRODUCT OWNER – DUTIES

The Product Owner role will include the following duties and responsibilities:
*Work with stakeholders to analyse the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
*Work closely with multiple departments to ensure products are delivered on time and to specification
*Develop specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams.
*Maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of development items for implementation by the development teams working in sprints.
*Work with the Development Manager to ensure alignment with the strategic technological roadmap.

PRODUCT OWNER – SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for someone with a background in software product ownership and general commercial experience as a product business analyst, owner, or other similar role.

*Analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and structured change management.
*Previous experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
*Ability to understand and interpret the differences between how stakeholders define problems and how developers interpret them.
*Knowledge of development within different project delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
*Strong people skills, able to get the best out of colleagues you work with.
