A growing global organisation are looking for an experienced and ambitious Power BI Developer to join their newly-created data team in Central London as they look to become increasingly data-driven. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in the office to collaborate with your team.
The purpose of this new team is to consolidate and integrate untapped data from a range of systems to create a single source of truth – from this, you'll create insightful visualisations can be produced to inform business decision-making. This is a real area of investment for this organisation, making it an incredibly exciting time to get involved!
This role will focus on designing, delivering and administering Power BI reporting solutions for a range of stakeholders, and acting as a true champion of the benefits Power BI can bring! You'll use your expertise to provide innovative solutions and ideas to maximise the value and uptake of Power BI products across the organisation, getting involved in end-user training and driving a culture of self-serve analytics.
We're looking for someone with experience working with data from a range of disparate sources such as various ERP/CRM systems and databases – any experience with Azure technologies and the wider Power Platform would also be highly beneficial.
This role would be well-suited to a Power BI enthusiast who is looking to take their career to the next level, with an organisation who are committed to investing in the latest Microsoft technologies.
Significant experience developing Power BI reporting solutions with use of Power Query, SQL, DAX and M
Proven experience with Power BI admin activities including maintaining the PBI service, workspaces, security, licensing and gateways
Experience connecting to a range of business systems and databases securely
Excellent data modelling experience including knowledge of building snow/star schemas
Excellent experience gathering and documenting business requirements
Any experience with the following would be highly beneficial: Fabric, Azure technologies (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks etc.), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)Benefits:
