PHP Developer needed for a superb permanent career opportunity based in Derby.

A chance to join a specialist digital agency looking to expand their team. Start ideally in May/June 2022.

Key skills, experience + tasks will include:

Designing / developing user-friendly, responsive websites, driving web projects + building the development team.

Key Tasks: coding, debugging, trouble-shooting, web performance optimisation, defining design requirements, UI testing + supporting junior team members.

Strong PHP development expertise + MVC frameworks (Laravel, Lumen, Symfony).

HTML, CSS/SCSS + JavaScript (ES6+), including JS frameworks like React.

WordPress development (including Bedrock/Roots framework) + bespoke themes for WordPress websites.

Tech Stack: MySQL DBs, 3rd Party APIs + Design Patterns, SOA, Webpack/Vite bundlers, Git version control + semantic code + data manipulation (XML, JSON).

Advantageous: Figma, web security, server-side JavaScript/APIs, unit/integration testing, Agile/Scrum + previous digital agency experience.
