My high-profile banking client are looking for an Operations Manager to join them within their Group Transformation Team.

Responsibilities:

– Provide advice and guidance on financial management, maintain robust and accurate Clarity forecasts, track performance to deliver to agreed financial targets and drive adherence to financial controls.

– Manage the effectiveness of the governance and reporting framework, providing insight through the delivery of high-quality, accurate analysis and reporting, to influence and enable stakeholders to make informed decisions.

– Support, facilitate and attend key meetings to review delivery, financial and operational position, agreeing updates and priorities, managing the production of meeting materials, and tracking actions through to completion.

– Embed a robust approach to the management and reporting of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Support consistent and timely escalation of these and the monitoring and implementation of mitigation plans.

– Identify trends to support development of remediation plans.

– Drive compliance, undertaking assurance activities and monitoring MI to ensure processes are completed in line with policy standards and breaches are identified and remediated.

– Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant policies and procedures and tools, promote advocacy, build awareness, improve capability, and support teams with ways of working whilst adhering to policy and regulatory requirements.

– Support the recruitment process, providing guidance and driving approvals, ensuring alignment with the approved OD, and driving adherence to processes.

– Drive data quality and alignment across people systems.

– Provide MI and insights on the status of supply of resources versus demand.

– Work with Senior Management to identify improvements to ways of working, strategic opportunities, and define and drive the Operations Management team's priorities in conjunction with Senior Management, support the delivery of ad-hoc initiatives both within the Value Stream and across the wider CBBT Operations Management function.

– Where relevant, undertake Line Management and act as a deputy to Senior Management in relevant meetings

Experience needed:

– Excellent communicator, both verbal and in writing, with the ability to distil complex themes into clear communications tailored in content and style to the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders.

– Adept at building partnerships, anticipating, and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders, and driving a culture that encourages collaboration and generates high performance.

– Energetic and enthusiastic, keen to take on new opportunities and challenges, collaborate with and encourage others to take action, hold self and others accountable.

– Flexible and resilient, able to prioritise work to meet commitments aligned with objectives, improvise in response to change, and maintain focus and effectiveness in ambiguous situations.

– Committed to development of self and supporting that of others, actively seeking ways to develop and be challenged, and to support others in developing.

– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret a wide range of data, making sense of complex information, analysing key themes, and providing insight for decision-making.

– Previous experience in Change and knowledge of associated policies and procedures with ability to monitor application and adherence, interpret and provide technical guidance to others.

– Strong technical and numerical skills, with a good working knowledge of Clarity, Microsoft packages and CMT
