1. Experienced Developer

You'll have a host of relevant development experience in languages suitable for the role. You'll be able to write clear and concise code, designing and architecting complex systems from a standing start. You be as comfortable in maintenance as green-field programming roles, and are fully-versed in object-oriented programming, with a focus on inheritance and extensive use of interfaces. In addition to 4 years of commercial computing experience, you will be proficient in our technology stack:

* Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL and Stored Procedures

* Microsoft C#.NET 6

* Microsoft ASP.NET Core

* Microsoft ASP.NET Core Web API

* Microsoft Razor Pages

* JavaScript including frameworks such as jQuery & VUE.js

* Beneficial but not essential:

* Practical experience working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) in a production environment

* Practical experience working with Microsoft Azure, Azure App Services and Microsoft Cosmos DB

* Experience of working in an Agile environment

* Experience with Microsoft DevOps for workflow and source control

* Experience with GIT for source control

Key software tools:

* Microsoft Visual Studio

* Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

* Microsoft DevOps

Working alongside our established developers, and Product Team you will be responsible for designing, architecting and delivering a wide range of product enhancements and new products.

We are looking for a motivated, skilled individual who can hit the ground running and add value to our core software platform from the outset. In addition to 4 years of commercial computing experience, you will of course be proficient in our technology stack. We're also on the lookout for the following key skills:

* Strong analysis & problem-solving skills

* Able to write clear & concise code

* Fully versed in object-oriented programming, with a focus on inheritance and extensive use of interfaces

* Able to design and architect complex systems from a standing start

* Able to test own and others’ work efficiently and effectively

* Able to organise and manage own workload to meet deadlines

* Capable in both maintenance and green-field programming roles

* Strong and clear communication skills with an emphasis on good written English

* Able to document work for a wide audience, ranging from technical peers to non-technical staff
