DQ Global is a leading developer of Data Cleansing Software which helps large organisations worldwide identify and solve their customer data quality challenges.

With over 25 years’ experience, we specialise in providing companies with the software tools required to deal with the growing problem of managing the quality of the data stored in business applications such as CRM, Marketing, ERP etc. and operational databases.

We are looking for a Mid to Senior C# Developer with 2-5+ years' experience to join our team based at the Fareham Innovation Centre in Lee on the Solent, Fareham. You will join an established and experienced team and enjoy problem solving for companies facing the challenge of Single Customer View and Master Data Management.

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the rest of our cross-functional team to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.

· Deliver ongoing development & maintenance of our core products.

· Work alongside technical partners to deliver new features.

· Maintain high standards of development and information security, with a focus on continuous improvement.

· Identify and implement optimizations across various systems and tools to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability.

· Create comprehensive and well-structured technical documentation, ensuring ease of use for internal and external developers.

· Act as a system architect when required.

· Act as subject matter expert regarding the application.

To work with us, you’ll need:

· 2-5 years' experience.

· A strong ability in software design, problem-solving, and debugging.

· A strong attention to detail.

· Strong interpersonal skills, ability to present and liaise at all levels in a matrix organisation.

· Comfortable working both independently, and in a team.

· Strong programming skills in C#: The candidate must have a deep understanding of C# and .NET framework, including experience with writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

· Database experience: Demonstrated experience working with SQL Server including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

· Good understanding of RESTful APIs: Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs, with knowledge of best practices and authentication/authorization mechanisms.

· Version control with Git: Proficiency in using Git for source code management, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.

It’d be desirable, but not required to have experience with:

· Cloud infrastructure expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including scalable computing resources, serverless functions, storage solutions, managed databases, and container orchestration technologies.

· Containerization and orchestration experience: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, as well as experience creating, deploying, and managing containers.

· Microservices architecture: Understanding of microservices architecture, including designing, building, and deploying microservices applications.

· Experience with message brokering and real-time data streaming: Hands-on experience with technologies such as Mulesoft, Azure Service Bus, etc.

· Test Automation Proficiency: Skilled in developing and implementing test automation solutions, improving testing efficiency, scalability, and repeatability.

· Experience in Software QA Methodologies and Tools: Strong understanding of industry-standard QA practices, processes, and tools, facilitating efficient planning, execution, and optimisation of testing activities.

· Test Planning and Case Development: Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring thorough test coverage and validation of product functionalities.
