Lead Software Engineer Opportunity

This role offers fully remote working and a base salary up to £100,000.

A global IT consultancy who specialises in the design and implementation of innovative cloud-based solutions and services are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background of leading development teams. You will have the opportunity to support some of the biggest companies in Europe and across the world in the implementation of Cloud-based systems and applications.

You will also have the chance to work in a team, playing a key role in both the design and development of digital solutions for customers from start-ups to Enterprises. You’ll enable customers to qualify and define their requirements, translating them into technical solutions, developed using AWS native technologies.

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers

* Conduct architecture discussions for new features or projects

* Review code and ensure adherence to standards and guidelines

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and methodologies

* Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.

* Collaborate with product managers, designers and other stakeholders

* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using appropriate technologies and frameworks

* Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments

Requirements:

* Strong experience working with Node

* Experience working with JavaScript/Typescript and React

* Degree educated within an IT or Business-related field

* Possess excellent communication skills

* Experience in cloud services, ideally AWS
