Lead Embedded Software Engineer wanted!
Due to rapid growth, my very successful client who dominates the Smart Electirical Technology sector is looking for a talented Lead Embedded Software Engineer to manage and expand their Software Team. My client is happy to provide sponsorship if necesary, however candidates who are already residing in the UK are preferred.

Working alongside a multi-disciplined technical delivery team on bespoke solutions.
Developing bespoke high-performance solutions for Clients within a wide range of sectors.
Highly involved in the full development life-cycle from concept to deployment
Liaising with clients to ensure that each product is developed to high quality and highly unique specifications.
Assist in developing and delivering robust and effective software strategies for the business.
Managing projects to ensure that all processes are completed quickly and effectively to exceptionally high standards.
Liaising with company directors to assist in company growth.
Mentoring less senior developers
The tech stack:
Proven track record in an Embedded Software Development role
Micro-controller Programming or bare-metal coding experience
Almost all code will be written in Embedded C/ C++ (Essential)
Embedded Linux / Kernel OS (Essential)
Nice to haves:
Prince2 certifications or similar
Some experience with testing (i.e. Jenkins)
Some experience in Python coding
The ideal candidates:
Proven track record of successfully leading teams and projects
Excellent written and communication skills
Passion for all thing's tech
Abilities to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
Willingness to learn new technologies.

This position is based in Nottingham and is part-remote however you will be required to attend the offices at flexible notice once a week.
The salary is flexible DOE – up to £65K starting, with a reflective annual salary increase.
