This role is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Helpdesk Support / 1st Line Support Engineer / IT Technician, to learn new skills and progress within the IT field.
As an IT Technician you will be providing remote and on-site IT support to the UK team and the Channel Islands – Jersey and Guernsey. A progression opportunity will be offered for the successful candidate upon completion of their apprenticeship.
Answering helpdesk line
1st line troubleshooting with the opportunity to work towards 2nd line
Hardware installs / Maintenance (PC's , laptops, printers,etc)
Raising tickets on internal systems along with software vendors / suppliers
Provide remote support to Channel Islands branches.
Interest / Experience in Hardware, Software, Network (Routers / switches)
Hardware / Software install, troubleshooting, repair experience or knowledge
Hard working ethos and good time management skills
GCSE maths and English at grade A*-C/4-9 or level 2 equivalent
