Job Description

Purpose of the job

The purpose of the Technical support analyst is to manage the first and second line technical support for desk side users. This will include multi-function devices, specialised IT equipment & application installations.
To be responsible for ensuring support of existing and emerging information systems and technology (IS/IT) services, including providing technical advice to corporate group project teams.
Work with Group IT organisation on projects for infrastructure changes, system upgrades and hardware refreshes

Technical support to users
Strong IT troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Laptop & PC Hardware imaging, configuration and deployment
IT Asset management
Take Ownership of problems and uses initiative to reach resolution
ServiceNow administration for incidents and requests
Service Focus, delivering quality IT services to end users
Customer Focus
Skills and Qualities

Qualifications
ITIL Foundation certification
Professional IT qualification, ie MS O365, COMPTIA+
Cyber security knowledge
Knowledge
Asset & Configuration Management – Essential
End user support & remote user support – Essential
ITSM Framework and knowledge of Service Life Cycle
Technical understanding of industry developments to make cost effective use of new and emerging tools and technologies – Demonstrable understanding
Experience of MS client/server environments, Active directory administration
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (O365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) & Windows 10
Knowledge of Windows 2019 server environment, security group, Active directory user administration
Knowledge and experience in information systems security, Cyber security
Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
Network knowledge (highly desirable)
Knowledge of ERP (SAP) environment (desirable)
Working with 3rd party Vendors for hardware & software support
