IT Systems Engineer – The Role:

IT Systems Engineer – Key Responsibilities:
– Design and implement cutting-edge IT infrastructure solutions to support our digital ambitions
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with organisational goals
– Provide technical expertise and support for systems, services, and software across various platforms
– Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging technologies and trends to enhance our IT landscape
– Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT Services department
IT Systems Engineer – You:
Essential requirements for the role:
– To hold a level 3 qualification
– To hold or be willing to work towards Literacy and numeracy to level 2 (GCSE A-C)
– Experience and knowledge of maintaining desktops and servers
– Be able to demonstrate an understanding and practical application of the importance of quality at work
– Be able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
– Able to produce, accurate and timely written reports
– Ability to manage a substantial workload and prioritise effectively
– Have experience of working in a flexible and positive manner, being adaptable to changing work patterns
– An understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to creating a safe learning environment
– Ability to work from all College sites when required
