IT Systems Administrator

Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 – DOE + Benefits
Location: Hitchin
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, plus participation in a rotational early shift (6:00am–2:00pm) and evening/weekend out-of-hours support up to 10:00pm (additional compensation applies)

Key Responsibilities

* Administer, monitor, and support hardware, software, and cloud-based systems

* Manage Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, and associated services

* Provide both remote and on-site IT support with clear, professional communication

* Carry out proactive maintenance, system backups, and recovery processes

* Collaborate on technical projects and support ongoing service improvements

* Diagnose and resolve incidents using ticketing and RMM tools

About You

* Strong experience in IT infrastructure support across varied environments

* Confident working with Windows OS, Azure/365, Exchange, AD, SQL, and IP networking

* Skilled with scripting (PowerShell), ticketing systems, and RMM platforms

* Customer-focused, solutions-driven, and an excellent communicator

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits
