IT Officer (Service Desk) / IT Support / Helpdesk
Starting Salary up to £26,841 per annum
37.5 Hours per week – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Our client is currently recruiting for a skilled IT Officer to join their energetic IT Service Desk team.
On a day to day basis you will provide IT support to the Group’s users, resolving issues (where possible) at point of call on a range of software applications, Windows laptops/PCs, iPads, and Android phones/tablets. You will get the opportunity to work with the team on wider projects outside of the normal scope of Service Desk.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within an internal IT department or IT services organisation – demonstrating hands-on experience of configuring, troubleshooting and supporting application software and computer equipment.
You will need experience of using helpdesk call tracking systems; taking ownership of support requests; ensuring all support calls are recorded and kept updated on the system; meeting compliance with internal SLA’s.
It is essential that you are a problem solver that can ‘think outside of the box’ when required in order to resolve issues. You will be able to handle a busy workload yet ensure customer service is always the key focus.
