Role: IT Engineer – Rubrik Backup and Hybrid Cloud Protection
Location: London
Duration: 3 Months extensions expected
Day rate: £550 – £600 Umbrella Only
Candidates must have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years
We're looking for an experienced Rubrik Backup Engineer to take ownership of data protection across a hybrid environment covering on-prem, Azure, and Office 365.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, optimise, and administer Rubrik clusters.
Ensure full backup/restore coverage for on-prem, Azure, and O365 workloads.
Manage backup policies, SLAs, retention, immutability, and compliance.
Troubleshoot backup issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver fixes.
Support audits, DR processes, and cross-team projects.Essential Skills
Strong hands-on Rubrik experience.
Hybrid infrastructure knowledge (on-prem + Azure).
Backup/restore of Azure and Office 365 via Rubrik.
Solid troubleshooting and governance understanding.Desirable
Experience with enterprise backup suites.
API/automation exposure.
