Role: IT Account Manager
Area: Chorley, Preston
Salary: £40,000 + uncapped commission

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager / Sales Professional with proven experience selling technology products and services. You will need to have the ability to conduct c-level conversations with customers around on-premise IT, Office 365, Azure cloud and managed services. At a more personal level, you will need to possess entrepreneurial flair, be a strategic thinker and relish working in a challenging environment.

The Role:

Responsible for establishing new relationships as well as nurturing existing clients
Assess clients' needs and pitch products and services in presentations and meetings
Vendor management
Provide clear and accurate proposals to customers in line with their needs and requirements
Build & manage a sales funnel
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices
We are looking for someone who has:

Exposure to IT or a related sector, working within a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
Experience in cloud strategy and transformation project sales
Experience with specific vendors in the industry such as. Microsoft, VMware etc.
A proven track record of sales achievement in a Managed Service environment
Possesses excellent communication skills and natural business sense
Pays close attention to detail and can think analytically
Has a positive attitude and the ability to manage their own time and organise their workload
Robust market knowledge in relation to Office 365, storage, cloud technologies, and managed IT services
