Support roles are essential.
When clients get poor support, they find a different supplier.
If that happens too often, it affects the company reputation and makes it harder to attract new clients.
But too often, you're not treated as the crucial part of the business you should be.
Too often, businesses don't put a proper career path in place for you, leaving you demotivated and more likely to move on.
Most of the time, they don't even write a decent advert to attract you, just a list of demands.
This job is different.
You'll initially join a fast-growing, triple gold Microsoft partner as a 1st / 2nd line IT / Azure support engineer, in what is a brand-new role for the business.
But the plan is to certify you as a Microsoft Azure Administrator (for free), before progressing you into a specialised role building out cloud automation with PowerShell / ARM, as well as supporting and delivering complex cloud infrastructure environments.
They specialise in leading-edge, cloud-based solutions, they're challenging the most prominent players in the cloud market and building best-in-class mobile and web applications.
Because of how well regarded they are by Microsoft, you'll work with clients that most companies can only dream of, for example, you'll work with Heathrow Airport three days a week, managing their Azure Portal, adding and removing access, creating service principles, rotating shared secret keys, managing the key vault and other support work.
You'll support a menagerie of great clients, the rest of the time.
They have a remote-first mentality, and after COVID, you could expect to work at the office a few times a month, but it's flexible, and you have the option of more if you like.
