To lead and manage the IT Support team. Ensure the IT infrastructure across all companies in the group are fit for purpose and secure. Supervise and provide 2 nd and 3rd level support to end user workstations for all computer, communication and server systems within the company.

Working hours.

9.00am to 5.30pm

100% Office based

Leading and managing the IT support team in performance and priorities, including objective setting and performance feedback. • Providing specialist Cloud knowledge & expertise • Implementation of the Cloud platform onto company systems ensuring successful completion • Maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of the business. • Communicating IT policies to all users, dealing with any breaches • Providing 3rd level support for complex problems. • Ensure all IT issues are logged and correctly allocated. • Tracking all issues to resolution and ensuring callers are kept updated on progress and expected time to resolution. • Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to callers by investigating complex problems and either developing and implementing solutions or escalating to 3rd level support. • Providing advice to users on systems functionality, applications and appropriate use. • Managing and maintain back up server and systems, ensuring daily and weekly back ups are completed successfully and stored securely. • Running weekly/monthly helpdesk reports. • Participating in projects.


Relevant technical knowledge (to be fully scoped) • Experience of line management and effective team leadership • Must have relevant knowledge and background in the delivery of a Cloud platform • Experience of successful IT project management and budget management • Ability to develop a commercially viable IT vision and gain buy in to it from all stakeholders • Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non technical stakeholders can understand • Ability to analyse situations and determine innovative but practical solutions to problems • Ability to interpret legal and quality standards into IT requirements • Logistical, structured and organised with the ability to effectively prioritise and make judgements • A team player willing to help out • Experience of successful IT project management

We are using windows 10 professional and using 365 for our emails. More than likely we will migrate to Azure but more importantly you need to be able to support the current environment. You will need to have experience in supporting a cloud environment and would be ideal to have experience with migrating a business to a cloud.
