Information Security Architect.
Are you seeking a challenging, interesting and varied role as an Information Security Architect in a complex technical environment?
This is an opportunity to join a company (a market leader in their sector) that use technology to improve its service to its customers. As such they need an Information Security Architect in a new role, to lead and ensure the correct Information Security Architecture is in place to meet the threats of today and tomorrow.
This is a new permanent role, the client is based in London, there will be a great deal of remote working with some travel to the London office as lockdown eases and work requires. This will be circa 1 day a week / 1 day every 2 weeks.
You will need to understand the strategic side of Information Security Architecture to review against and ensure that the architecture and environment in place meet the business needs of the current business strategy and can be adapted to meet new threats as they arise.
On a technical side you will use your knowledge of Information Security Architecture to understand, from an architecture point, the tools, system protocols and data design, and apply that to the information security architecture design, ensuring a Cloud Data Application system focus, from a security view, is front and centre.
You will be ensuring any risk associated with changes to meet new threats is assessed to understand the impact and make sure it is done correctly. You will liaise with the other architects and the wider IT team to make sure that the changes you want to occur, happen.

Salary: c£70,000 – £85,000 per annum + pension + generous holiday allowance, insurance
Duration: Permanent full-time Role.
You have a track record as a security architect with a good understanding of Information Security Architecture within a cloud environment (ideally Azure but AWS or Google will be OK). Training is available for the right person who has some but not all of the experience required.
You'll need good communication skills, able and confident to deal with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and technical ability.
You need to understand and be continually developing your knowledge on security, threats and Information Security best practise, such as Zero Trust, to be aware of current technology and new ideas as they come along.
