Global Service Transition Manager – ITIL, CMDB, Change & Asset Management, OAT

Outstanding opportunity to join this globally renowned financial services brand on a permanent basis. This organisation is undertaking a major IT transformation to redefine and mature its IT Service Management function and align it to a product centric operating model. This role will make a crucial contribution to facilitating this transformation and delivering an end user centric service, based on industry best practice. You’ll require the following skills and experience:

* A track record in contemporary, end user centric IT Service Management in global settings

* 5+ years’ experience of service transition at a senior level (both applications and infrastructure)

* Experience managing 3rd parties and small teams of service transitions leads / analysts

* Deep expertise in ITIL process and best practices with associated ITIL qualifications

* Detailed knowledge of Change Control, Asset Management and Configuration Management

* Extensive knowledge CMBD management

* Extensive experience of Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) and Readiness Testing

* Experience of managing IT services, using recognised frameworks, methods and tooling

* Experience developing constructive working relationships with Product Teams, Service Teams, and Business Units

* Experience of using automated systems to support specific business functions or processes as well as Service Management toolsets.

* Demonstrate an understanding of the need to keep commercial aspects continually in mind when taking actions or making decisions

* Experience of communicating complex technical issues and sensitive information to business units, senior stakeholders and the wider user community

* Financial Services sector experience, or experience gained in a highly regulated environment advantageous

* A professional and calm demeanor, with excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a world class ability to build trust

£70k-£78k + bonus + corporate benefits. City of London (60%) and remote (40%)
