Job Title: Floorwalker (Contract) – Windows 11 & Microsoft Support Specialist
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Contract Length: 5 Months (likely extension)
Day Rate: £150 Per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an IT support professional with hands-on Windows 11 expertise and a passion for delivering outstanding user support in a fast-paced environment? Chapman Tate are working with a customer who is looking for a proactive Floorwalker to join the team on a contract basis, providing on-site support to end users and ensuring seamless operation of devices, applications, and network configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide floorwalking support to users, resolving issues proactively and offering guidance on Windows 11 functionality and features.

* Support and troubleshoot the latest Microsoft applications, including M365 suite.

* Perform firewall configuration and ensure security settings are correctly applied.

* Configure, install, and troubleshoot printers and related peripherals.

* Act as a visible point of contact on the floor, delivering excellent customer service and resolving incidents quickly and efficiently.

* Escalate complex technical issues where necessary and work closely with support teams to ensure timely resolution.

* Deliver user education and guidance on best practices and new features.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in a Floorwalker, Desktop Support or similar user-facing IT role.

* Strong knowledge of Windows 11 setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

* Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.

* Experience with firewall configuration and network security fundamentals.

* Strong background in printer deployment and configuration.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, customer-centric mindset.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
