Job Title: Cisco Firewall Specialist (SC Cleared)

Location: London (Hybrid – 1-2 days per week onsite)

Contract: 6 months

Rate: £550 – £600 per day (Inside IR35)

About the Role:

83zero is proud to be partnered with a leading bank that is seeking an experienced Cisco Firewall Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and stability of their enterprise-scale infrastructure.

As part of this contract, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Cisco security solutions, with a key focus on Cisco ACI and Cisco ASA firewalls.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and manage Cisco ACI and Cisco ASA solutions within an enterprise-scale environment.
Provide hands-on expertise in firewall configuration, security policies, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of security solutions.
Conduct risk assessments and enhance security postures in compliance with industry standards.
Work within a hybrid setup, attending the London office 1-2 days per week as required.

Key Requirements:

Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
Proven experience working with Cisco ACI and Cisco ASA in an enterprise-scale delivery environment.
Strong understanding of network security principles, firewall policies, and threat mitigation.
Experience working in the banking/financial sector is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work effectively within a hybrid model, balancing remote and onsite collaboration.
