Job Title: Digital Product Owner (Senior Level)

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Assignment Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner to lead the technical strategy, design, and implementation of an innovative cloud infrastructure. As a hands-on contributor within a dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in furthering a cloud-first approach, prioritizing automation, scalability, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This position requires experience from a developer or engineering background, as well as the ability to foster strong collaboration across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Ownership:

– Own and deliver the technical roadmap for cloud infrastructure, with a focus on automation and IaC principles.

– Implement efficient resource provisioning processes, ensuring reliability and security.

Technical Collaboration:

– Work closely with teams across Data & Analytics, Networking, and digital product teams to integrate cloud infrastructure into application landscapes.

– Facilitate workflows and automation using source control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Enterprise.

– Engage with technical leads and engineering communities company-wide.

Mentorship & Enablement:

– Provide informal mentorship to engineers, promoting best practices in cloud automation, IaC, and DevOps.

– Serve as a technical thought leader, driving innovation and continuous improvement in cloud practices.

Cost and Vendor Optimization:

– Evaluate vendors and technology solutions to optimize performance and manage costs.

Key Requirements:

– Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with Azure architecture and services (e.g., Functions, VMs, networking, storage, AKS, automation).

– Infrastructure as Code: Demonstrable skills in Terraform, Bicep, Ansible.

– DevOps & CI/CD: Proficient with concepts, pipelines, and integration using tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.

– Monitoring & Observability: Knowledge of Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus.

– Product Ownership: Experience in backlog management, prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and roadmap definition.

Experience:

– Minimum 6 years' experience in cloud and infrastructure engineering with significant application of IaC in Azure environments.

– Proven track record of aligning cloud strategies with business objectives.

– Hands-on delivery of large-scale platform automation using IaC.

– Experience designing and implementing observability frameworks.

– Collaboration with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, business, security).

Skills:

– Strategic thinker with deep technical cloud and infrastructure expertise.

– Leadership and influence capabilities in cross-team settings.

– Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

– Hands-on proficiency with IaC and modern DevOps tools.

– Ability to translate business needs into scalable, robust technical solutions.

– Curious, forward-thinking, and tech-savvy with excellent relationship-building skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

– Recent hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, IaC (ideally within a platform team), and technologies such as on-prem, Kubernetes, Docker.

– Interest in team prioritization and work organization, balancing technical and Product Owner tasks (80-85% hands-on, 15-20% PO).
