Delphi Developer – £50,000-£55,000 – Homebased
We are seeking a talented and experienced Back End Delphi Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining robust back-end systems and applications using Delphi. If you are passionate about back-end development and possess the required skills and experience, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain back-end systems and applications using Delphi programming language.
* Design and implement efficient and scalable database structures and queries.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement new features.
* Optimise application performance, reliability, and security.
* Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolution to ensure system stability.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience in back-end development using Delphi programming language.
* Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
* Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
* Familiarity with other programming languages and technologies such as C#, Java, or Python.
* Knowledge of web development frameworks and technologies.
* Experience with software testing and debugging techniques.
* Understanding of agile development methodologies.
This is a very technical role, so candidates will need to demonstrate this ability at interview stage with an in-depth discussion, so you will need recent and solid experience to fall back on.
