As our Self-Service Data Visualisation Manager, you will lead a team of BI and Spotfire developers to deliver a roadmap of self-service reporting for the Distribution area. You’ll own, maintain, develop and improve the key reporting systems (Tibco Spotfire) to meet strategic requirements and drive insight, and will be a hands-on contributor to our core BI and MI strategies.

Key responsibilities of our Self-Service Data Visualisation Manager include:

Creating a reporting environment for distribution to self-service their MI needs

Running an effective and efficient system development lifecycle (SDLC) using Spotfire

Working with our BI teams to develop our BI stack & strategy

Democratising data for every function for the Distribution team

Working with distribution, MI and BI team on tracking core KPIs

Taking our data visualisation to the next level

Structuring and maintaining data warehouse for the Spotfire reporting environment and working with the Systems teams to ensure best practice

Offering solutions to reporting and data warehouse design challenges

Engaging with relevant projects to offer technical expertise

Developing and managing reporting solutions from source databases and a range of interfaces including Cognos, Access, Excel

What we are looking for in our ideal Self-Service Data Visualisation Manager:

Expert SQL and BI skills

Strong people management and collaboration skills

Experience of visualisation tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik or similar

Experience in data modelling techniques, UML Process Design and Usability design

Technical Architecture, Process & Data Mapping and Entity Diagram mapping skills

Business writing skills, presentation and facilitation skills

Advanced problem solving, analytical and systemic thinking

Experience working with large datasets

A proven track record of applying BI commercially and delivering actionable insights

Relevant experience in a similar role

Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
