The Business Development Manager role requires excellent and proactive communication, coordination and interpersonal skills. With an energetic, hands-on approach, high levels of engagement across internal and external stakeholders, you will build a deep understanding of the prospect/customer and their user community. The role involves translating the key challenges and requirements into tangible, value-based solutions that are commercially attractive. Your primary task will be to proactively grow business across both prospective and existing customers.

Our software and services help institutions, such as Universities and Royal Colleges, achieve digital transformation of their assessment processes (exams, workplace based assessment etc).

Requirements

Customer Experience

Proven new business BDM with at least 5 years' experience selling into the Public Sector primarily.
Digital Transformation exposure utilising SaaS solutions and services within the Higher/Healthcare Education sector.
Ability to proactively establish, build and nurture relationships, engaging with customer and prospective stake-holders.
Demonstrate deep understanding of prospective and existing customer high-level strategy/objectives.
Translate customer challenges and objectives to value based benefits via our platform and service offering
Consultative and "same-side", solution selling experience up to C-Level stakeholdersOperations Experience

Log, maintain and progress all sales and customer organisational supporting information/activity within the SalesForce, and maintain a P&L for each account
Qualify, organise and attend demonstrations of Fry solutions – identifying and guiding the team content based on prospective/existing customer discovery and knowledge.
Manage client relationships
Own Sales opportunities through to closure and order placement
Input into Sales proposals, client analysis and facilitate the production of high quality, well written and detailed responses to bid requirements.
Input into marketing messaging, content and direction.
Facilitate handover of new customers from the Sales Team into Delivery, maintaining relationships and helping strengthen partnerships further across the team.Who are we looking for
