Business Development Executive

Our client is a leading Global SaaS company within e-Commerce. They work with some of the leading names within retail. Essentially they propel their clients to outgrow their competitors.

Purpose of the position

As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for developing and qualifying potential new customers of their solution – as well as agency partners – through outbound email and calling campaigns.

In this role, you will work very closely with the marketing team and sales representatives, who will equip you with the tools, analytics, and coaching you’ll need to be successful.

Responsibilities:

*

Qualify Inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

*

Outbound prospecting: combining cold calling, email & social media campaigns in order to drive engagement

*

Working with Account Executives to help drive key account engagement

*

Hold discovery calls to qualify leads and prospects, to determine whether there is a sales opportunity

*

To continue to develop new, innovative ways of engaging prospects

*

Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

*

Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

*

Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

*

Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients

*

Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Qualifications/Experience:

*

BSc degree in Business, Marketing or similar areas, and strong academic track record & extracurricular activities a plus

*

An aptitude for sales or 1+ years of sales experience

*

In addition, the following will be an advantage:

*

Business applications knowledge; CRM would be a distinct advantage (SalesForce, Outreach, Lusha, Kaspr, Sales Navigator)

*

Keen understanding of sales performance metrics

*

Experienced in a technology sales environment
