Business Change Business Analyst – IT Service Provider M&A

New opening for a Business Analyst with a high-calibre, rapidly growing IT Service Provider, a market leader in IT services to professional service industry. With significant financial backing, the business is embarking on an ambitious growth trajectory through acquisition, with two integrations from recent acquisitions underway, one more coming up soon and a pipeline of other potentials to follow. As such, a Business Analyst is required urgently to support the integration activities of these mergers; spanning people, processes and technology.

Working in a specialist, small acquisitions integration team, you will be the sole Business Analyst, playing a pivotal role in the successful integration and required change to businesses.

Work will be broad and varied, spanning all requirements and components to achieve successful integration of businesses, upholding service excellence and with minimal disruption to customers.

Work will include, but is not limited to;

Working with stakeholders across the businesses, at all levels to understand and model business functions, processes, data structures etc
Produce and maintain business analysis deliverables, such as requirements, process and system flows/diagrams, business cases, functional & non-functional specifications, data and information flows, etc
Identify and issues, problems and opportunities; designing solutions through process improvements and systems
Run stakeholder meetings and workshops, documenting and presenting outcomes and findings.
Support projects through full end-to-end project lifecycle, including UAT for new systems/system changes.
Support the defining of solutions for organisational, people, process and IT/system integrations and improvement
Produce business cases for a change initiatives
Support the wider team in managing successful change; implementation and adoption of new working practices, processes, systems etc.

Required skills and experience;

Previous experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally with a focus on Business Change projects/initiatives, including people, process and technology change
Experience of using formal methods and tools to analyse and map business processes
Confidence in stakeholder mapping and management
Skilled in benefit analysis and management, through the full project lifecycle
Experience and understanding of technical and functional requirements elicitation and documentation
Experience of supporting broad, cross functional Target Operating Model change would be highly advantageous
An eye-for-detail, able to produce and present work following best-practice methods and tools
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
Exceptional communications skill with the ability to collaborate with wider teams
Broadly skilled in Business Analysis tools and techniques (technical and functional), with an understanding of when and how to utilise; including (in no particular order!) workshopping, process modelling/BPMN, data mapping, activity diagrams, SWOT, PESTLE, wireframing, systems architecture, UAT etc
Strong computer literacy including tools-of-the-trade such as MS Excel, Jira etc

Highly desirable experience (but not essential);

IT Service management (ITSM) process and system/tool experience
M&A / business integration experience.

Position can be based in London or the West Midlands, with flexible working.
Paying up to £60k salary + corporate benefits
