Big Data Engineer

Location: Dublin

Duration: Initial 12 Month (potential to extend further)

A new opportunity has opened up for a Big Data Engineer to join my global client, based in Dublin, Ireland. This is an initial 12 month contract with great potential to extend.

My client are looking for a strong data engineer to join the team to work closely with senior management and stakeholders on specific client project.

This role is 2-3 day/week onsite in Dublin centre (some flex), and you must be based in Ireland.

Required skills:

5+ Years Experience as a Big Data Engineer
5+ Years Experience with Big Data technologies
Hands on Experience with Hadoop Ecosystem
Strong Cloudera experience – 4+years
Python, Scala or Java
Orchestration tools
KafkaFor contractual reasons, candidates for consideration must be based in Ireland.
