Excellent opportunity for a QA Engineer / Automation Software Tester to join an ambitious company offering progression, an interesting and varied day to day task, and the opportunity to work on life saving technology.

This company are a well-established business and have a great name in the industry. They invest heavily into Research and Development with about 10% of their team operating in that department – due to recent breakthroughs they are now predicting they are only 6 months away from launching a revolutionary communications product.

In this role you will create automated testing scripts from scratch, designed to test a variety of hardware and software products. You will work as part of a large R+D Department as the sole Software Tester, so you will have plenty of autonomy. Due to the need to get hands on with the products on a regular basis you will need to be office-based, Monday to Friday, 9-5.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science or similar and have some experience with developing Autonomation Testing Scripts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are an absolute essential for this position. Due to the nature of the role candidates must be commutable to Derby daily.

The Role:
*Design and build Automated Testing scripts
*Testing Hardware and Software Products
*Sole Software Tester within the R+D Department
*Office-based Monday to Friday, 9-5.

The Person:

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Commutable to Derby daily
