Assistant IT Support, Data & Imaging Manager
A fantastic opportunity to join an established construction and property development organisation that has a continuing programme of business process digitisation.
This role is to assist the Head of IT, Data and Imagery. The role will include an amalgamation of technology and creativity.
You will be working in a department which handles the provision of IT infrastructure, systems and support including:
Ensuring that the IT infrastructure is working and up to date
Our staff are supported in all technology needs to perform their role
Management of our external IT support provider.
Plus, the provision of professional photography and video for the business and its clients, including:
Event photography
Portraiture
Project photography and Video
Drone footage.
Main duties include:
Review office and site IT helpdesk tickets and ensure they are addressed within a timely manner
Assist with IT support, monitoring the IT service desk
Assist the team and management, with the purchase and setup of new IT equipment
Setup and support of laptops, desktops and mobile devices
Asset management including warranties
Disposal of redundant IT equipment
Assist with completion of new starter and leaver procedures
Provide ad-hoc support to the team
Provide on-site support at locations as required
Support users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
Creating FAQ and instruction guides as required, including internal training sessions
Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects
Good awareness of fundamental cyber security and GDPR principles and practices
In-house photography/video/drone assistant
Assist with photoshoots and image processing
Assist with video shoots and video processing and compiling.
Key Skills
Have a passion for technology and be willing to look for opportunities to assist and undertake day-to-day support
Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 including, but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Experience of network patching desirable, but not essential
Experience of Viewpoint & Field View is desirable, but not essential
Ability to liaise with users at all levels
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Rigorous attention to detail
Passion for learning new platforms
Interest/passion for photography and video
A good understanding of digital camera settings
Basic understanding of ‘The exposure triangle’ Aperture / ISO / SHUTTER SPEED
Experience with Adobe Cloud software including Lightroom / Photoshop / Premier desirable, but not essential.
Requirements
Full clean driving license and access to a car.
On offer is a basic salary of between £45,000 – £50,000 plus package including holiday, pension, healthcare and other company benefits
