This position is responsible for playing a key role in the introduction and evolvement of agile and lean techniques into a global software engineering team, focusing on servant leadership during a transformative period for the organisation.

The role will focus on the team and will help shape the journey for them to become self-managing and take ownership of the end-to-end software delivery process. Along with focusing on the team this role will help the organisation to deliver more effectively through modern ways of working.

The role will suit someone who wants to help a well-known brand that are still at the beginning of their journey. We're looking for a real servant leader, whether you are an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master or Delivery Manager as long as you are focused on servant leadership principles, empowerment and coaching we'd love to hear from you.

Key areas of the role include:

Be a role model, demonstrate strong delivery ethics using agile values and lean principles through your thinking, processes and actions
Nurture and inspire the team to take responsibility for their delivery process and the outcomes they deliver
Empower and encourage the team to focus on delivering value
Be an active participant and facilitator of important team activities (e.g. daily stand-up,retrospectives
Help the team to "fail fast" using data to build learning and support continuous improvement
Maintain high levels of communication with other teams and key stakeholders
Bring people together to solve problems and share success
Introduce and evolve agile and lean techniques through the practice of continuous improvement
Maintain delivery momentum by removing impediments and mitigating risks
Ensure a visible delivery plan for each team
Share your best knowledge, experience and techniques with the Delivery Practise

Essential:

Demonstrable experience working and introducing Agile and or Kanban to a reputable organisation, ideally at scale
Strong communication and influence skills
Demonstrable development of cross-functional teams through coaching and mentoring
