3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer – £50,000 – £60,000 + Benefits – Islington/Remote

An exciting client of mine are undergoing an IT Change and Transformation Programme across the business and are looking for an 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. The 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer will work within a growing team that is always striving to achieve excellence in everything they do to enable a better service to customers now and in the future. In addition, this role provides a great opportunity for the 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to work in a fast-paced environment and continue developing their current skillset whilst also being able to gain experience around infrastructure and cloud security.

The 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer will be heavily involved in both project and BAU work with the aim of improving the security of corporate cloud and on-premise infrastructure in alignment with the business' requirements. My client is looking for the 3rd Line Infrastructure to join and be trained to develop their security skillset with the hope of the role becoming the bridge between the infrastructure and non-technical security team.

The 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer will be working alongside the Service Delivery team to provide support for security incidents and problems, whilst also managing third parties that are providing cloud, infrastructure and security services to the business.

You will be fully rmeote in this role and also benefit from a very inclusive and flexible working environment. There is a training/certification budget for the team, a 15% bonus and consistently awarded performance reviews. Key Skills – 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer:

Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 – troubleshoot and deploy servers
VMware/Hyper V – troubleshooting
Active Directory – Group policy and ADFS
Exchange 2007/2010/2013/2016 – configure
Patching – WSUS or SCCM
Azure
Understanding of networking protocols – DNS/DHCP/LAN/WANDesirable Skills – 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer:

Working knowledge of PCI DSS & ISO27001 whilst also having experience of improving IT systems in alignment to security guidelines, acting both proactively and reactively
Windows Server – design and migrations
Troubleshooting network issues
