You’ll love this business – Based in Manchester City Centre, 2nd Line Helpdesk Support Engineer candidates should be experienced in supporting Windows, Windows Server, MS Exchange, Microsoft Office / Office 365 suites, as well as a deep knowledge of networking i.e. TCP/IP, LAN & WAN and their components.
As 2nd Line Helpdesk Support Engineer, you will provide 2nd Line helpdesk support to clients, assisting them with hardware / software problems via phone and email and through supporting 1st Line and also handles escalations. We are looking for someone to help support users on the service desk and implement and support client systems. This is a varied and interesting position, that will provide many learning opportunities.
Ideal candidates will have 1 – 2 years IT support experience and have a solid technical skillset. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships is important in this position.
In the 2nd Line Helpdesk Support Engineer role, you’ll provide 2nd Line IT support through numerous channels of communication including email, telephone, internal requests from colleagues and actions in response to automated alerts from the in house monitored systems. To ensure the in-house operating systems are fully maintained in an accurate manner on all work received, updated or completed
