2nd Line Desktop Analyst .
Office based, (Pathfinder House Huntingdon) and other offices locally as required. (60% office based, 40% remote home working)
3CICT is part of a shared service strategic partnership between Cambridge City Council, Huntingdonshire District Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council and this is one of several Desktop Analyst positions within the service.
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic IT professional looking for their next exciting challenge as a Desktop analyst. You will play an important role in delivering an ITIL 2nd line desktop support function to our customers across these partner sites, resolving tasks such as desktop builds/deployments, procedure documents, Anti-virus checks etc. You will also be responsible for providing hands on technical support to analyse and resolve a wide range of queries, in a fast-paced environment and at times this may require you to be present in our offices in Pathfinder House, whilst at other times you can work remotely.
You will need to effectively manage customer’s expectation, ensuring excellent customer service is always delivered.
You will be required to work 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and our core hours are between 8am and 6pm and travel will be required between the primary sites for work.
This position will require Out of Hours support for one of the authority’s critical business systems, this support is based on a 1 in 3 or 4 week rotation that includes an on-call weekend service which carries an additional supplement on top of the salary.
