Location: London

Rate: £600 – £700 per day Ltd / Umbrella

Contract: 12 months +

This is an excellent opportunity to join a FCA regulated company to project manage and oversee the implementation of changes required to adhere to the Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR). The ideal candidate will be required to manage the project, a key regulatory requirement for delivery in 2019. Responsibilities will include; capturing the scope and high level requirements for other regulatory projects which will impact the business. Providing support to the Head of Business Change in managing and coordinating a portfolio of change projects across the business. Provision of regular updates to the SMCR Project Board. Working with internal stakeholders, coordinate delivery of SMCR High Level Plan. SMF Registration forms (Form K or Form A) submitted to the FCA. Managing responsibility maps. Implementing processes and procedures on an ongoing basis. Delivering training to all relevant staff on impacts and responsibilities. Reviewing and implementing ongoing assurance training to support the above. You will be expected to work with business sponsors to identify the need for change, and work on shaping the project(s) that are required to achieve the desired outcomes. As part of the initiation phase, work will be required to estimate the resources and budget required to deliver the projects. The Regulatory Change Manager is also responsible for obtaining the Project Governance Committee (PGC) approvals, where appropriate. Perform the analysis and shape the design of future business processes. Where technology forms part of that design, you would also be expected to liaise with the technology change teams to help define proposed solutions for presentation back to business stakeholders for review and sign-off and manage the implementation, coordinating across the relevant business areas. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing projects or work-streams within large projects. You will have a strong background in financial services, with specific asset management experience. A high level of structure, organisation and the ability to work across teams. Competent at prioritisation, process organisation, and management of multiple work-streams. Business analysis skills with experience of mapping processes, both current and target and the ability to succinctly summarise key elements for emphasis to senior management.
