Product Development & Integration / Automation Specialist

A highly reputable FTSE 100 corporation is currently recruiting an automation/integration specialist who has strong capabilities in automation / scripting tools such as Powershell, Bash and Python preferably within an AWS enterprise environment. The chosen candidate will be tasked with the creation and execution of an end to end automation strategy for digital workplace products increasing efficiency, agility, speed and value for money. Our client is paying a basic salary between £55,000 to £60,000 + 20% bonus + excellent corporate benefits to be located in Luton 2/3 day per week.

The chosen automation developer will be tasked with integration / process automation of the digital workplace environment integrating Ignio, Cognix and Nexthink (or simialr platforms) to contrubue to the creation / execution of the end to end automation strategy for Workplace products.

Core responsibilities:

Contributing to the creation and execution of an end-to-end automation strategy for Workplace Products.
In collaboration with the Product Adoption Specialist and Product Engineering Specialist, designing and implementing agile, reliable, scalable, and reusable automation solutions to improve the efficiency of Workplace digital capabilities, ensuring integration with the overall technology landscape.
Continuously seeking new opportunities to automate or eliminate repeatable tasks, reduce administrative overhead, and improve user experience for Workplace products users.
Participating in designing a strategy and roadmap for the integration of various systems within our clients infrastructure, in collaboration with the Service Integration team and Product Architecture Specialists.
Contributing to architecture systems integration implementation through a well-coordinated integration process.
Collaborating with the Product Engineering Specialist and Product Architecture Specialist to proactively identify bottlenecks and performance issues in the systems and optimising hardware and software components to improve systems performance and value. Core skill set:

Strong capabilities in automation processes (Low-Code/No-Code) using integrating tooling within an AWS enterprise environment is essential
Experience using automation and scripting tools, languages, and libraries (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) is essential
Experience in working with automation technologies (Blue Prism/Power Automate/UiPath/Automation Anywhere/Pega, etc.) is essential.
Understanding of IT systems, architectures, and technologies to assess service components, identify integration points, and collaborate with technical teams for implementation is essential
Working knowledge of how machine learning (ML) can enhance automation is a nice to have
Any experience of Cognix, Ignio or Nexthink would be highly desirable but any experience within similar tools would be considered Product Development & Integration / Automation Specialist
