Our client is a highly successful IT and data centre service provider that operates predominantly with multinational enterprises, data centre operators and channel partners. Most of our client's work is in the South-East however this does extend internationally, into Europe, America, and Asia. Our client has a well-established brand and standing within the industry and a reputation for delivering outstanding services and quality.

This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in technology & communications networks, either coming from an engineering or tech support role. Recently qualified students would also be considered who are looking to experience a sales and t/or technical job and specialise in due course. We would like you to be customer focused and self-motivated, with lots of energy and a 'go-getter' attitude. It's important that you are technically minded, an excellent listener and communicator and have good organization, administration and relationship-building skills.

Who we want

* We’re looking for a confident, motivated, results-driven, assertive and effective team player that is well organised, methodical, reliable and dependable.

* Acting as a key point of contact for some of the accounts, you will be responsible for providing technically adept, easy to understand quotes and designs.

Profile

* The role will see you turning around multiple quotations, responding to clients, and assisting Sales leadership with various activities to help close and win orders.

Requirements

* You must be an excellent verbal and written communicator with an ability to learn, understand, explain and articulate complex processes and information at all levels.

* Knowledge of IT & Networking technology or similar technical or services-based company.

* Some general business acumen and customer management skills.

* Experience within a similar IT service, structured cabling, managed services, data centre company would be highly desirable.

* Flexibility with a strong work ethic

* Need to be fully conversant with MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.

* Pipeline and CRM management tools.

* Full UK driving licence

* The role is an office based role, you must be in travelling distance to the Chelmsford office
