Hampshire County Council are undergoing a series of office moves and relocations. There is a requirement to disassemble and relocate IT equipment to new areas ready for staff to move into.

An IT Technician is required on a contract basis to assist with this work and to perform other desktop support duties as required. This role is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Essential skills and experience

Recent experience of 2nd line Desktop IT Support (Windows 11)
Experience of delivering and setting up end user IT devices into an office environment
Strong self -organisation and self-motivation behaviors
Good problem-solving skills
Management of stock/ asset management systems
Strong customer communication skills in person and over phone, with experience of managing difficult customers
Lifting and carrying – physically fit
Clean Driving LicenseDesirable Skills and Experience

Microsoft InTune and Windows Autopilot
Android smartphone and Tablet SupportWorking Location

Winchester (EII Court)
Various offices in Hampshire
